Cristiano Ronaldo has paid Conor McGregor a visit at his training camp in Las Vegas as the UFC fighter prepares to make his return to the Octagon.
The Real Madrid star, on holiday in America after leading Portugal to Euro 2016 glory in France, posted a photo to Instagram on Sunday night of the two at McGregor's gym.

Ronaldo has been enjoying himself since lifting the Henri Delauney Trophy in Paris on July 10, celebrating by sunning himself all over the world and partying with a host of celebrities.
McGregor is one month away from UFC 202, where he will face Nate Diaz in a rematch following his defeat at UFC 196. The pair were supposed to meet at UFC 200 but the Irishman pulled out over a dispute regarding his packed schedule.
He also put a picture up following Ronaldo's visit, captioned: 'My brother Ronaldo dropped by the gym today!  He is an animal.'
Portugal captain Ronaldo has found much with which to fill his time since sustaining a knee injury that ended his final at Euro 2016 prematurely. Eder went on to hit the winner as France were defeated 1-0 in extra time.

He has posted pictures on countless different modes of luxury transport - always in his own unique way - and on nights out with other well-known faces such as Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria.

Ronaldo is set for a late return to his club after the injury that forced him off against France, with the player back in training on August 10.
That means he will certainly miss the Super Cup match against Europa League winners Sevilla on August 9, and he remains a doubt for the start of the domestic season on August 21, when his side travel to Real Sociedad.
